Redirections- It is a process of transferring
one url to a different url. There are 2 main
kinds of redirection in seo, 301 and 302
301 Redirection- It is a permanent
redirection.This is mainly used when as change of address,where total link
juice is passed to redirected url.
302 Redirection- It is a temporary redirection
and it does not pass link juice to the redirected url.
Page Rank- It is a measure used by Google to
determine the popularity of a page.
Robots.txt- It is a file that contains
information about which pages of a website need to be crawled and which pages
are to be avoided.
Meta description- This is small piece of
information that helps search engines to describe data on webpages.It is used
to display snippets in search engine results
Dynamic URL- Urls that contain special
characters are called as dynamic urls. These urls are not so seo friendly urls.
Static URLs- These are constant urls and they
do not change depending upon the data from remote database
Keyword Density- It is the percentage of times a
keyword or phrase appears on a web page compared to the total number of words
on the page.
Keyword Stuffing- It is one of
black hat technique. It is technique of stuffing the webpage with keywords in
order to rank top in search engines
Cloaking-This is one of
unethical way to rank in search engines also refereed to as black hat
techniques. It is practice of presenting different content to users and search
engines.
